Diabetes Dayton is dedicated to the assistance and support of individuals affected by diabetes.
We have been in existence since 1963. We are a partnering agency of the United Way, we also are proud recipients of the Better Business Bureau's Eclipse Integrity Award.
In 2020, we became an agency of LifeCare Alliance in order to enhance and expand our programs and services. All monies donated to Diabetes Dayton stays in the greater Miami Valley area to sustain diabetes education classes, youth camps, Diabetes Emergency Supply Assistance Program (DESAP), and other diabetes management programs and services.
Our Wellness Expo and Blue Circle Run fundraiser occur the first Saturday in November. The monies raised helps to fund camp. Head to the race website for more information!
We are the sole agency that puts on Camp Ko-Man-She each year. There is often a misconception that our agency, Diabetes Dayton, is affiliated with other national agencies such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Though each of these agencies do amazing work for diabetes at the national level, we are proud to be a small agency providing services locally.
